The Wizard of Christchurch  —  Ian Brackenbury Channell QSM

Originally the self-appointed Wizard of Christchurch, has been elevated to the rank of National Wizard of New Zealand.  A non-conformist and entirely eccentric individual who has graced Christchurch's Cathedral Square since the mid 60s.  The Wizard has become an institution within the City of Christchurch, and indeed a major national treasure.
