The Thymes  —  an early 60s group hailing from Timaru .....
Graeme Hobbs (Vocals/Guitar), Gary Sammons (Guitar), Bill Clarke (Drums) and Gary Hobbs (Bass Guitar/Vocals)

Gary and Graeme Hobbs later formed Timaru band The Trend and became resident at The Downtown Niteclub.  Bill Clarke went on to join Granny Spoon, and Gary Sammons became a full-time professional musician in Australia before moving back to New Zealand and becoming a resident bass player for That's Country.
