The Sapphires

Fred Mummery (Piano), Dion Murphy (Vocals), Robin Hope (Lead Guitar), Mike Green (Bass Guitar) and Murray Johnston (Drums)

The group would eventually become Dion Shannon and The Shamrocks and it had included Maurice Cook on rhythm guitar.  Maurice moved on to join Max Merritt and The Meteors, and Cecile Wylde joined what was still then The Sapphires
