Russell Grieve  —  originally a drummer, morphing into a guitarist and latterly a ukelele player

Russell started playing drums at age 16 in a trio with Reg Garters and Stu Leishman.  He slso played drums in a group comprising, Graham Lambie, Alan Brown, Rex Krahagen and Lyndon Ferris.   At age 21 he played rhythm guitar with Dave Chapman, Stu Leishman and Tony Cortez at a gig, disappering into the woodwork until at age 75 when he started playing in a ukelele group.  Russell, Gus Milne and Steve Harte played odd gigs but transitioned to two guitars and cajon from ukelele.  The group is still playing weekly at an open mike night at The Pegasus Arms as well as other odd gigs.
