New Brighton - Christchurch's seaside attraction, and where all the action occurred on a Saturday

New Brighton had a special place in the fabric of Christchurch with it's unique Saturday trading.  This would always ensure that Seaview Road was alive with a throng.  The foreshore, just a block along from Seaview Road featured a soundshell which saw regular weekend performances to an excellent crowd.
