Murray Olds
Murray Olds is from Christchurch, New Zealand where he attended Christchurch Boys' High School from 1968 until moving on to study at Canterbury University. He has been a journalist since the mid-1970s, with a special interest in sport, covering a dozen Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth Games as well as World Cups of football and rugby union. These days he plays golf (not very well) and drums in a number of bands. He was the news director at Radio 2UE in Sydney before moving to ABC Radio as a news presentor, producer and writer. He then moved on to 2GB in Sydney where he jointly presented "The Two Murrays", and is presently an announcer at Radio 2UE in Sydney. He is a correspondent for NewsTalk ZB and features weekly on Mike Hosking's show. |
