Lord at Rose-a-Lee Night Club 1972
Brian Walker (Keyboards), Vince Venditti (Vocals), Phil Jones (Guitar), Rob Patrick (Drums) and Mike Jones (Bass)
Lord was formed from another local group known as Forces of Love, and an early line-up of the new Lord featured Ian Lienert (Lead), Mike Jones (Bass), Brad Coates (Keyboards) and Colin Chappell (Drums). That line-up had competed in, and been runners-up in the 1971 Coca Cola Bottlers' Battle Of The Bands in association with Benny Levin.
Lord played at The Plainsman (aka Joshlin's place), Jude March subsequently replaced Vince Venditti as lead vocalist in 1973. Vince Venditti was in reality G.G. Vince MacDonald who took his stage name from his mother's (Italian) family side ... |
