Grant Gillanders — owner of the Frenzy Music label .....
Frenzy record label owner and music historian Grant Gillanders has had music in his blood since his grandfather’s gift of a portable record player for his fifth birthday in 1959. In 1990 Grant worked as the producer/cameraman for the first series of the TV3 music show Frenzy. He later began compiling CDs for local artists for EMI and this led to similar projects for other record labels including SONY, Universal, Ode and Rajon. In 2012 Grant formed his CD re-issue label, Frenzy. Two years later, his company joined forces with the British re-issue label RPM. In addition, Grant became a foundation writer for the Audioculture website in 2013. |
