Flaxwood Festival 2013

Australia's undeniable #1 Country Rock Group - The Wolverines returned to the country to headline Flaxwood Festival 2013.  The festival also featured international star Roy Phillips (the unmistakable voice of 60s and 70s sensations - The Peddlers).  Marian Burns fiddled to the delight of the crowd who had been entertained by Something Else as they entered the venue and installed themselves for an afternoon's entertainment.  Voice and Fai performed their individual speciality music, and the extremely versatile Woolston Brass featured prominently once again.  Flaxwood Festival 2013 was held on Sunday February 24th, 2013 at the original Flaxton Road (Rangiora) venue, raising almost $60,000.00 for supported charities  —  The Order Of St John (37,871.56), The Woolston Brass ($15,779.82), The One-2-One Charitable Trust ($6,311.96).
