Diane Philpott  —   guitarist with The Chikadees - an all-girl group, put together by Tommy Kahi circa 1964.

The Chikadees played locally, and ultimately in a *Startime* Spectacular in Christchurch's Majestic Theatre.  The group joined Johnny Campbell and The Detours at Paraparaumu's Golden Dance Centre for a three-week holiday stint at the end of 1965.
