Aroha Williams — vocalist and bass guitarist .....
Aroha was born and raised in Christchurch,and she comes from a musical family. At the tender age of 6 years, she started her musical journey and over 30 years, she has been performing, competing and playing in backing bands for Country music and in Jazz and Blues to the general public at functions, festivals, clubs and bars. She has been fortunate to have won overall titles around New Zealand that have taken her to the international stage. She released her self-titled CD at the Mildura Country Music Festival Australia in 2003. Aroha also lived in the Nelson Region for 17 years an was a music tutor for Motueka High School for ten years before moving back to Christchurch to settle into family life ...... |
