Wally Wakefield and Don Wakefield

Began singing as a group with their sister when they were just children.  They sang in numerous concerts, mainly at the old Civic Heatre during the Second World War, and they were paid the princely sum of half a guinea (ten shillins and sixpence).  Latterly they performed for Trevor King on his concert circuit, and they were renowned for their delightful harmonies.  The Wakefields were a well-known New Brighton family..
