Joe Brown  —  Impresario

Andrew Joseph Francis Brown was born on October 3rd, 1907 at Naseby in the Maniototo, and died on Augusst 23rd, 1986.  He was a mechanic, entrepreneur, entertainment promoter and racehorse owner.  He was awarded the British Empire Medal for his great services to the community as an entertainment promoter in the 1970 New Year's Honours List.
