The Group (Ashburton) - 1965-1970 under various guises

The Group was resident at The 1400 Village, Litchfield Street, and along with The Funny Feeling and Just Us also played at The Pride of Place and various halls and Clubs in the Canterbury area, as well as the West Coast and Nelson. The band broke up in 1970 when two members moved away. The remaining members regrouped a year later under the name Faze 3 and played on the pub circuit till the mid 1970s also backing popular singers like Craig Scott and Bunny Walters along the way. |
