The Basket Cases at The Gresham Hotel
Jane Walker (Drums), Paul Kean (Bass), Mark Wilson (Guitar) and Alister Parker (Guitar) and not shown Nicky Carter (Percussion)
The Basket Cases came out of the Detroit Hemroids circa 1978 and featured members who went on to much bigger things in groups such as Toy Love, The Gordons, The Androidss, Bailter Space, The Playthings and The Bats. Alister Parker joined when Olly Scott went back to England for a year or so, and the band stuck with the name The Basket Cases and kept going briefly after Jane Walker and Paul Kean relocated to Auckland where they formed Toy Love with Chris Knox and Alex Bathgate. Mark Wilson went on to The Androidss, and Nicky Carter formed The Playthings.
